Reyes Light, and several underground comixs. Her work has won numerous California Newspaper Publishers Awards and the Peninsula Press Club Award. Kathryn LeMieux is a nationally syndicated cartoonist whose work appears on Fridays in the comic strip SIX CHIX. She is also the creator of the cartoon strip, FERAL WEST, which has inspired her "California Mermaid" series of paintings.
