She studied with Nevin Kempthorne of Sedona, Arizona, The Patri School of Art in San Francisco, with the late Thomas Leighton of San Francisco , and at the Positano Art Workshop in Italy. She began painting the sea in oils in 1961 while residing in Mill Valley, California. Her works have been published for art books and museum collections. She is permanently recorded as a prominent artist by the Sausalito (California) Historical Society.
